What is Orbitfone Broadband Phone?
Orbitfone’s Broadband Phone combines local, long distance and international calling with great features like Caller ID, Call Waiting and Voicemail without any monthly fees. You just pay as you go. In addition to standard telephony features like Caller ID, Orbitfone Broadband Phone also offers advanced features that are not available through traditional telephone services.

How Does It Work?
Orbitfone Broadband Phone works just like your regular phone. Your phone rings when someone calls you and you pick up your telephone to answer the call. The person calling you can call from any phone, whether or not they are on the Internet. To make a call, you simply pick up your telephone (you will hear a dial tone) and then you dial any number worldwide (the person you are calling does not have to be on the Internet).
Setting up the service is also fast and easy (no technical expertise is required). There is no wiring and no computer knowledge necessary. The entire process takes less than
10 minutes and you will then be ready to make and receive calls with Orbitfone Broadband Phone.
Requirements
- Broadband Internet (DSL, Cable, or LAN).
- Home Router (with available Ethernet Port).
- Telephone (any analog telephone, even a cordless one)
Setting up Broadband Phone
Setting up Orbitfone Broadband Phone is very simple:
- Connect the Broadband Phone Adaptor to your home router.
- Plug in an analog phone (any phone, even a cordless one) to the adapter.
- Plug the adapter into a power outlet.
- Complete the online setup-wizard in the Member Center.
